Pastor's Welcome

Our God is a good and faithful God.
PCC is a story of a people blessed by the goodness of God, which is a part of a bigger story. He has brought us into His family, the church, from different wallks of life to be a blessing to the world.
This is made possible because of God's great love demonstrated through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We invite you to be a part of this bigger story.
As God's people we can make a positive difference in our world. We invite you to join us on this exciting journey.
We pray for God's blessings on you and all He calls you to do.
With the love of Jesus,

"A Godly leader...
finds strength by realising his weakness
finds authority by being under authority
finds direction by laying down his plans
finds vision by seeing the needs of others
finds credibility by being an example
finds loyalty by expressing compassion
finds honour by being faithful
finds greatness by being a servant"The backbone of the Church! The church does not only function on weekends. On weekdays, the PCC staff toil about their work, helping the church function and grow. They are a group of friendly, approachable people that would be most delighted to meet you and get you connected to the PCC family.

Our Vision
PCC aims to be an excellent christian community taking God's love from house to house, touching people changing lives. It is our desire to share the life-changing love of God with the people of Penang - our immediate community and beyond!
This happens when every member of the PCC family connects to the people they live, play and work with. In doing so, we seek to become God's heart and hand extended, making a positive difference in our world.

2013 Theme
Drawing Life From Christ...
John 15:4, 5
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing..."2013 & 2014 — Focus on Discipleship - the habits of a disciple — what a disciple should look like and what habits to develop in order to grow.
1. Pray. 2. Meet together and are a part of the church. 3. Need a personal bible study plan or method. 4. Serve others. 5. Give to others. 6. Are in relationship. 7. Are humble. 8. Share our faith with all who will listen.
2013: Drawing Life from Christ...
Q1 In Prayer Christians pray for others and they know it. Focus: Personal Prayer, Worship, Corporate Prayer, Intercessory Prayer, Prophetic Prayer & Fasting, Cell Prayer Retreat.
Q2 By Meeting Together Christians meet together and are a part of the church. Christians are devoted to meeting together. The early church did this on the first day of the week and daily. The components of the weekend services are worship, communion, offering, etc. and why we do what we do.
Focus: The benefits of belonging to a local body — corporate worship and carecell. The Cell Church Strategy; Membership Intake.
Q3 Through Intentional Bible Reading Christians need a personal bible study plan or method. We are people of the word because it is through the word that we are sanctified — purified. The word helps us know right from wrong. Through it, we are able to defend ourselves spiritually.
Focus: TAWG (Time Alone With God), bible reading / bible study.
Q4 To Give to others Christians give to others. We want God's glory and the good others more than we want the things of this world. We are people who tithe our income and resources and give even over and above.
Focus: Stewardship. We will continue with the same theme for 2014 and focus on the following habits:
2014: Drawing Life from Christ...
Q1 Through Prayer, Worship & Bible Reading (Review) Q2 To Relate with People Christians are in relationship. We are committed to our marriages and families. Our marriages and children are more important than our careers. If we are unmarried, we are committed to sexual purity. We are committed to other believers. We look past others' faults, we forgive, and we seek forgiveness.
Focus: The benefits of belonging to a local body - corporate worship and carecell. The Cell Church Strategy; Membership Intake.
Q3 To Serve Christians serve others in humility. We use our gifts and abilities (which God created us with) to serve individually and corporately for the glory of God. We know that God created us with our abilities. We know that He also spiritually gifted us with ways we can serve. We are merely managers of those gifts and we use them for His glory. We also know that we are sinners and it is only by the grace of God that we are not in hell. Therefore, we want to give others the same grace that God has given us.
Q4 To share with all who will listen Christians share our faith with all who will listen. We do this even if people persecute us for doing so. People are going to hell without Christ, and we love people best by giving them what they need, nor what they want.

Decade To Multiply
By the end of 2020, PCC will multiply into 3 centres in Penang, with 2000 members, increasing our reach as God's Apostolic Community. The vision of The Decade to Multiply is driven by a passion to serve the whole of Penang and get close to where the people live. After all, we believe that we are 'sent out' by God to spread His love.
We will do this by multiplying from one centre to three. Our second and third centre will be in the South of Penang Island and Seberang Perai.
